How to View Headers In Your Email Program

To view headers in Outlook:

• Right Click the Message
• Click Options
• At the bottom of the screen that pops up, you will see the headers

To view headers in Hotmail

• Log into your Hotmail account.
• Click on the Options link on the menu (it is next to the Contacts tab).
• On the options page click on the Mail Display Settings link under the Additional Options column.
• Look for the setting named Message Headers. Change the value to either Full or Advanced.
• Click the Ok button on the bottom of the page to save the changes.
• You can now go back to your Inbox and view your mail.
• The mail you view will display the full headers.

To view headers in AOL

• Open the email
• Make sure it reads "Sent from the Internet" near the top.
• Click Details (next to "Sent from the Internet").

To view headers in GMail

• Open up the message
• At the top, you will see a button that says more actions, click on that
• This will bring up several links, click on "Show Original"

To view headers in Yahoo

• Open up the message
• Click on "Full Headers" located on the bottom on right-hand side of the message window

To view headers in Eudora

• Open the email
• Click on the button that says "BLAHBLAHBLAH"
