Meet Our Staff

Karen Kratz, President/Programmer

When not cleaning up after her flatulent, diarrhetic aging cat, Karen enjoys saving toads and frogs from a fate worse than death in the skimmer-filter in her pool. She also enjoys pottery, sketching, and any other creative endeavor, which is why she got into web design in the first place. However, with a little support from her husband, Alan, she manages to do a decent job of programming our client's web sites during her "off" hours.
UPDATE: Karen was recently (2/2/07) sworn in as President of the Lillington Chamber of Commerce, and that same night was also awarded Small Business Person of the Year - no wonder she has the "supersuit" on!

Kiersten "Kaye" Barnes, Vice President/Senior Designer
Born under the sign of Sagittarius, Kaye was guaranteed a life long addiction to horses that became evident when, at a very young age, she began riding the family St. Bernard. In the pursuit of adventures other than horseback riding she got her first computer, which lead to many vows (and curses). Later, after becoming the "better half" in a ceremony that promised "for better" and "for richer", the new Barnes family built a paddock where Kaye can be found shoveling horse !%*& to the sounds of her favorite movie soundtracks.

Stacy Zimmerman, Lead Designer
According to cryptozoologits, the Stacy is an ape like hominoid creature which reportedly habitats secluded wooded areas and coffee shops throughout the United States.  Though there is no official scientific evidence to verify the existence of the Stacy, many people have come forth claiming to have caught this cryptic beast on film.  Unfortunately, the majority of the photo documentation brought forth has either been too grainy to properly identify or of questionable validity.  However, many cryptozoology web sites have recently been flooded with reports that a Stacy was successfully captured, and that it is now living in captivity and working for a web design company.  These reports, however, remain unconfirmed.

Paula Hoffman, Administrative Assistant
When not working her fingers to the bone at Roaring Aardvark, Paula enjoys time with her family; husband Larry and daughters Skye, Madira and Sierra on their ranch where they raise ponies.  When not bumbling through volunteering at a therapeutic riding center and 4-H, Paula enjoys reading fantasy and Sci-Fi books which makes her a perfect fit at Roaring Aardvark.  Her worst quirk?  She's too serious!

Our Interns
Interns are considered slave-labor here at our offices. Some of our interns are bright, some intelligent, some creative, and nearly all are hard working. Our interns come to us as strays begging for scraps of experience, and of course, we're kind enough to take them in.
